Theater aan het Vrijthof
On the foundations of the Monastery of the White Women on which the General House was built, Theater aan het Vrijthof has been established since 1992.
The building at Vrijthof 47 has in the course of time many public functions known: office of the municipal receiver, police station, city library, city archive, urban museum and conservatory.
Theater aan het Vrijthof has two halls; the Papyruszaal with 900 seats and the Bovenzaal, located on the first floor of the old General House, which can accommodate up to 110 visitors.
