Lisa Jacobs, The String Soloists & Carel Kraayenhof Quartet

With Piazzolla in Paris, Carel Kraayenhof and Lisa Jacobs are fulfilling their wish for a concert tour together, featuring music by Astor Piazzolla and sisters Nadia and Lili Boulanger. They thereby underscore Piazzolla's conviction that tango deserves a place in the classical music canon. 

Piazzolla approached Carel Kraayenhof in 1987 to collaborate in New York on a tango musical he had composed. From him, Carel learned how tango should really be played. Lisa Jacobs is an established name in the classical music scene. She plays, solo or with her own ensemble, on all major stages in Europe and abroad.
