Erik Neimeijer

Rough husk, white centre. Guitarist and artist Erik Neimeijer pays a more than sincere tribute to Willie Nelson. This country singer is one of the best American songwriters.

His songs have been performed by many other artists. A selection of his hits: Always on my mind (Elvis Presley, Pet Shop Boys), Crazy (Patsy Cline), On the Road Again, To All The Girls I've Loved Before (duet with Julio Iglesias). In this solo program Erik accompanies himself on piano and guitar and for each song that is sung in the performance, he makes a painting beforehand that is part of the decor.
