Mette Ingvartsen & Manon Santkin

The solo performance RUSH builds on the intense 20-year artistic collaboration between Manon Santkin and Mette Ingvartsen, while paying homage to performing itself. The work awakens a heady intoxication by reactivating highlights from previous creations.

RUSH looks at the shared artistic practice as a piece of wilderness to be protected; an ecosystem that the two artists can look back on as a crystallization of their joint work. Santkin: "In this new performance, we try to use the image of 'the anthill' as a metaphor for our artistic work. RUSH is about how you can keep evolving through collaboration, how your work remains experimental even after 20 years."
