Khôra
Korzo | Astrid Boons
In today's digital age, we are increasingly turning to a future where technology is leading. Technological advances are supposed to make life easier, but practice shows us that technology controls our lives.
In Khôra, Astrid Boons philosophises about a posthuman world and the social dissolution we are going through. Posthuman because we are increasingly turning toward a future in which technology is leading. And dissolution because the space for the body in this future is getting smaller and smaller. What is the impact of this denial on our lived bodily experience? And what does it mean for our sense of being human? In Khôra, her most ambitious production yet, Astrid Boons attempts to answer these questions. Five performers embrace different possibilities of embodiment and search for ways to re-ground themselves in our humanity.
How do we reclaim our humanity?
