At the heart of the concept behind I have a fly in my head lies the interplay between conscious and unconscious thought. While conscious thoughts are those we are aware of and actively engage with, unconscious thoughts operate beneath the surface, influencing our perceptions and behaviours without our explicit awareness. For many individuals, the majority of these thoughts remain internalised, existing solely within the confines of their own minds. This internal dialogue, unique to each individual, shapes their perception of reality and influences their actions and decisions.

In the labyrinth of my mind, thoughts dance like flickering flames, a ceaseless whirlwind of consciousness and subconsciousness.

The analogy of a fly trapped in a glass bowl vividly captures the sense of confinement and frustration that can accompany this experience. Like the insect incessantly battering against the transparent barrier, these thoughts may feel trapped, unable to break free from the confines of the mind and manifest in the external world.
