Stephen Shropshire & Ron Bernstein

American choreographer and curator Stephen Shropshire, in collaboration with artist Ron Bernstein, has curated the exhibition Transitional, inspired by the theme of transition.

Through five objects, set up in the Hoofdwacht, the audience is challenged to surrender to accessible and playful processes of change. The texts accompanying the objects prompt reflection on how this individual experience relates to the larger, socio-political and philosophical transitions currently taking place in the world.  

 This exhibition was commissioned by schrit_tmacher festival Just Dance 2024.
