How do we try to get higher? To what extent do we rely on each other to do so? Is height the scariest thing, or is finding balance even more exciting? In Beyond the Edge, eight young people move across a life-size installation of ladders. Together they explore the extremes and test how far they can take each other.

To create Beyond the Edge, circus and dance maker Piet Van Dycke is working together with young people between the ages of 13 and 24. Beyond the Edge is a project initiated and developed by the cultural centers of Maasmechelen, Genk, Heusden-Zolder, Houthalen-Helchteren, Lommel and Tongeren together with HET LAB/Krokusfestival en fABULEUS.
This event is programmed by Theater aan het Vrijthof and Nederlandse Dansdagen.
