The tradition of the Mastreechter Staar's Kerstconcert (Christmas concert) on Boxing Day is almost as old as the choir itself. This year the men of the Staar will again sing of the birth of the baby Christ; ranging from velvety soft singing in Silent Night to resounding bells when the miracle has occurred. With the birth of Christ, the era began and so each year is a new beginning.

Led by conductor Hennie Ramaekers and pianist Michiel Ballhaus, the Mastreechter Staar embarked on a growth spurt in quality and quantity two years ago, which has done the famous men's choir more than good. Come and enjoy a wonderful Kerstconcert dedicated to a new beginning.
