After his unsurpassed BachPlus, Flemish harpsichordist, organist and conductor Bart Naessens will christen a larger ensemble at Musica Sacra's final concert: MEER, after Beethoven, who said the composer should not be called Bach (brook), but Meer (sea). The program is carried by two cantatas by J.S. Bach, Siehe, ich will viel Fischer aussenden and Wer nur den lieben Gott läßt walten, both with oboes and horns, and with the same text as the final chorale: ‘Sing, bet und geh auf Gottes Wegen’. In short, all of us, with God's confidence, must sing our own way and follow our vocation, with all the choices that come with it.
