Beethovens Eroïca én Noa Wildschut
philharmonie zuidnederland
“It made little difference if I had ended my life”, Beethoven wrote in the face of his impending deafness. In music and art he saw his salvation. “Come on, I'm courageously meeting you,” he continued.
Two years later, his effervescent Eroïca Symphony was born. In this hymn to true heroism, Beethoven's brilliant musical voice triumphs over earthly concerns. Another hero is violinist Noah Wildschut. This young Dutch star talent shines in Mozart's beautiful Third Violin Concerto. A concert full of classical highlights.
