Dianto Reed Quintet

The young, Spanish-Dutch Dianto Reed Quintet is making an unstoppable advance within the European concert circuit. With oboe, bassoon, saxophone, bass clarinet and clarinet, they treat listeners to infinite timbres. This time they perform based on the inspiring world of Picasso and Stravinsky.

The two maestros shared a friendship of many years. Stravinsky dedicated a beautiful melody to Picasso: Pour la postérité (for posterity). A colourful clarinet solo that provides the thread for an exhilarating concert. In addition to works by Satie and De Falla, the quintet will also perform a spectacular arrangement of Stravinsky's ballet fantasy Pulcinella.
