The Osimun Quartet chooses its repertoire largely based on emotional and philosophical grounds. On stage, the saxophone quartet forges an almost spiritual bond with the audience. This unique, eclectic program focuses on the cyclical and celestial and includes highly versatile works.
In 2023, the Osimun Quartet was a finalist of the Grachtenfestival Conservatory Competition and first prize-winner of the Storioni Concours. From the jury report, “This young Spanish saxophone quartet impresses with its beautiful ensemble sound. At times fiery, then tender and transparent. Like an unwritten page, they allow themselves to be overwhelmed by the music.”
