Black Pencil brings a new approach to music and rare instrument combinations. The Elizabethan period fits them like a glove; it is an experimental paradise for sound variation and tempo changes. The rich procession of dances is reflected in the exuberant music of Vivaldi. In addition, successful arrangements from J.S. Bach's Kunst der Fuge and Telemann's Overture Suites resound. Surprising in Black Pencil's unusual lineup is the combination of recorder, pan flute, viola, accordion and percussion.
